Donavan reported that Lars passed away this past Monday, August 1, 2022. When he passed away, he was 56 years old. Larsโ€™s son revealed that his father had received a stage 3 throat cancer diagnosis a month prior to his passing. At the time of his passing, Lars was residing with his girlfriend Kelli Edwards. Lars was receiving chemotherapy this week, according to his son, and he passed away on Monday while he was at home in St. Petersburg, Florida. According to Donavan Tate, when he last spoke with his friend, he seemed fine and there was no indication that he was going to die. Donavan added that it appeared that Lars would survive.
