Wood Dale Shooting –The gunshot, active hostage situation, and barricaded suspect are all under investigation by the police as of Tuesday night, October 4, 2022. According to the information provided in the report, the event took place in the wood dale neighborhood of ash avenue and Irving park road at approximately five o’clock in the evening. Officers were called to the scene after many shots were fired in a haphazard manner, as reported by the Wooddale Police Department, in the neighborhood of Ash Avenue which is located between Irving and Hillside. During the intensive manhunt for two suspects who have not yet been identified, a huge police vehicle responded to the spot.
According to the police who responded to the call, the suspects, one of whom was identified as Hispanic and was wearing a blue shirt and braids, and the other of whom was identified as a heavy-set male Hispanic were found at the apartment located on Ash Avenue at approximately 5:30 p.m. According to the report, a subject was brought into custody for obstructing the arrest of another person.
As of now, there have been no reported casualties.
