The governor of Ebonyi state, Francis Nwifuru has warned the former governor of Rivers state and Minsiter of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike not to interfere in the politics of Ebonyi state.
This statement was contained in a viral video that was posted on the official YouTube page of TVC on June 15, 2026.
The governor of Ebonyi state made the statement during a rally that was organized for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abakaliki.
In the video that surfaced online, Francis Nwifuru stated that the people of Ebonyi state are not afraid of anybody.
Here is what the governor of Ebonyi state said;
“I heard some people are saying they have discussed with the President and that he has given Ebonyi state to PDP.
“And their leader, Nyesom Wike said that the President has given Ebonyi state to him. We are not afraid. Nobody should push us because we have all it takes to consume anybody trying us”.
